OpenYAM

Overview

The OpenYAM is an open source desktop manipulator designed for light industrial tasks.  When paired with Anvil's software and control stack, these arms become extremely capable, and can complete highly dextrous 1mm tasks such as tying zip ties or disassembling legos.

In addition, these are built with CNC and sheet metal components for all core mechanical assembly. The OpenYAM does NOT use 3D printed materials in it's mechanical structure to ensure stability and reliability, we do have 3D printed outer shells whose purpose is purely aesthetic and for holding in camera cables.
